As most of you know Little Italy has become my home-away from-home, I eat and sleep there most nights. One of the many resturants we have come to really enjoy is The Prep Kitchen. Not only are the entrees delicious but sharable as well.They also have really good sangria and delicious small bite apatizers.
The atmosphere is nice, there is a dinner side and a "bar" side where it's cafateria free seating style tables, which most resturants are doing now.
I highly recommend this place-

Two Guys Move You- Day 94

As everyone knows my sister and i like to move...frequently!!! And you also know neither of us have a truck or tend to date guys that have trucks and or keep them long enough to help us move. Bottom line moving SUCKS for everyone nobody really wants to give up their weekend to help you move your shit across town. So when the elevator broke in our old apartment building and two weeks go by and the "out of service" note is still up, I started to freak out, because now NOBODY is going to help us! Which is why we decided to higher movers for the first time!
TWO GUYS MOVE YOU!!!!!!- Honestly they were not that expensive and totally worth it!!!
Even if my next move is down the street and i own a truck and for some reason i start working out... I'M STILL HIRING MOVERS!!!!

"That's Why God Made Prurple Shampoo!" - Day 93

Well i honestly didn't think i could go shorter with my hair but, yet again i surprised myself. Along with whacking more of my hair off i also got my first base lift, which is a process of coloring the hair to achieve lighter all-over. Basically you color the whole head!!!
I think the trick with this is to really know what your doing and how your color reacts to being colored. My hair is a dirty blond, well at least i think it still is, meaning i have a few different shades of blond and brown in my hair. I think each section of my head took to the base lift differently and I'm not so sure i like it. Part of my hair came out a little more strawberry blond then i would of preferred but that's why God made Purple Shampoo!! It will grow and I'm sure in a few months i will have yet another "new blog post" of something involving my hair, I'm still hoping nobody dares me to go BLUE!!!

Pittock Mansion - Day 92

The Pittock Mansion is a French Renaissance-style "château" in the West Hills of Portland, Oregon, originally built as a private home for The Oregonian publisher Henry Pittock and his wife. It was a beautiful LARGE home with a VERY beautiful view. Not sure it was worth the $12.00 tour but it was still really cool.
Each room was decorated according to the date in which it was built...1914!!! My favorite part was the secret hallways built behind the rooms so the servants could be discrete when traveling through the home.

My kind of school - Day 90

Kennedy School- An old Elementary School turned into a bunch of bars and a hotel.
Probably one of the coolest ideas i have ever seen for an old building. I think this is mainly a great idea because of its location... Oregon is cold in the winter and i know for myself once i get out of the cold and into a warm bar I'm not leaving to hop to another bar as i would here in pacific beach or downtown San Diego... BUT if i only had to walk through the halls of and elementary school to get to the next classroom turned into a bar AND I could grab a sip of water from the tiny drinking fountain then i would highly consider it.
The bars within the school were even named accordingly; Detention, Honor society, The Boiler room, and the Theatre Bar...

Finally concured the west coast - Day 89

Oregon was the last state on the west coast that i have yet to visit. It was green, cold and beautiful. Not planning to move there anytime soon but i would be lying if i said i didn't like it. I think i need to go back and do a little more exploring though.
Sign Flipping - Day 88

This is a lot harder than it looks, that darn sign is HEEEEEAVY!!! Either that or I'm a lot weaker than i thought.
I can totally picture cars slamming on their breaks causing a huge traffic jam and NOT because the sign flipper AKA "me" is so good looking... but because I dropped the damn thing in attempting to flip it.
Let's just say this is NOT a career I'm planning to pursue.
